Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Serifu AI app and related services ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all aspects of the relationship between users and the operator regarding the Service.

2. User Responsibilities

Users must comply with applicable laws and these Terms, and use the Service at their own responsibility. Minors must obtain consent from a legal guardian.

3. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

Violate laws or public order

Infringe on the rights or interests of the Service or third parties

Import or share scripts that infringe copyrights

Engage in unauthorized access or impose excessive load on our systems

Circumvent usage limits (including device spoofing or similar methods)

Illegally obtain or share account information or content

Record AI voices and redistribute them for commercial purposes

Engage in any other activity deemed inappropriate by the operator

4. Usage Limits

The PDF/text import (AI script structuring) feature is subject to a limit of 5 uses per day. This limit is managed per device and resets daily at midnight (Japan Standard Time). The operator may change usage limits based on operational requirements.

5. Intellectual Property

Intellectual property rights related to the Service's software, design, AI voice models, and other content belong to the operator or their rightful owners. Copyright of script data imported by users belongs to their respective rights holders.

5-2. Confidentiality

The operator treats all script data imported by users (including unpublished or non-public works) as confidential information and will not disclose it to third parties beyond the scope necessary for service delivery. Exceptions include:

When required by law

When the user has given consent

When the user voluntarily transmits data through sharing features

Users are advised to exercise their own judgment and responsibility when handling highly confidential scripts, including unpublished works, particularly when using sharing features.

6. Service Changes and Suspension

The operator may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service without prior notice, and shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users as a result.

7. Disclaimer

The operator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of the Service. No guarantees are made regarding AI voice quality or script recognition accuracy. The operator shall not be liable for damages arising from use of the Service, except in cases of intentional or gross negligence.

8. Subscriptions

Paid plans are provided as auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store. Available plans include Share and Pro monthly and annual subscriptions.

Prices, features, and billing currency are as displayed in the app or on the App Store at the time of purchase

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase

Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period

Renewal charges are applied within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase

Except where required by law or Apple policy, partial refunds are not provided for the unused portion of a subscription term after cancellation

9. Changes to Terms

The operator may revise these Terms as needed. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by Japanese law. In the event of a dispute, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
